Time flies!

One month ago, we flew into the Vancouver airport.  It feels like it was just yesterday; the time is flying by!  It has been so good to be home; to hang out with family and friends.  13 months is too long to be away.  The Lord willing, we won't stay away that long again.
Rocky has been working a bit to help cover our expenses - there is always work for him when we are home (PTL!).  So, the time has not been a holiday - especially for him!
We have also had a number of opportunities to share at churches and in homes and we have been blessed by the positive responses we have received.  It is a joy to share with others what the Lord is doing in our lives and in Guatemala.
And, just to make sure we don't run out of things to do, we are planning a wedding.  There is nothing like a wedding to gather family together.  Hope arrived home from Australia on Friday.  Marshal came home from working up north yesterday and Arryn is arriving from Guatemala on Thursday.  It has been about a year and a half since our four kids were in the same place at the same time.  We will be missing Hector, our son-in-law, although.  We are praying that at some point in the next year we will have our entire family (including our two son-in-laws) together for a bit of time.
I know these next couple of weeks come and go before we know it and we will be on the plane heading back to Guatemala.  It will be wonderful to return to the work the Lord has given us - we have a steady stream of teams between June, July and August - but it will be hard to say goodbye...again.
Such is the dilemma of this life the Lord has called us to.
Blessings,
Karren
